Children’s Growth Groups<\/h2>\n\n\n

Children are an important part of life at SEC and we praise God for each one! Prayerfully consider serving in this area and connect with our children.
Sunday School<\/strong> from September to June we offer Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. During Sunday School, children will be welcomed by caring teachers who will offer Bible lessons in a fun and age-appropriate way. During the summer, when there is no Sunday School, activity pages are provided.
Children’s Church<\/strong> takes place during the sermon portion of our worship service on Sunday mornings (September – June). Children ages 3-7 will be invited to the front of the church where they will be prayed for and sent off to enjoy a time of fun and learning under the supervision of our caring Children\u2019s Church volunteers.
Children’s Feature<\/strong> happens occasionally during our worship service, a children\u2019s feature will be offered. This could be a story or a puppet show or an illustration; always with a message attached and always with a treat at the end!
Club DJ<\/strong> is a bi-weekly event (September – June) for children aged 4-12.\u00a0 Children who come to club will learn truths from the Bible about Jesus Christ while having fun doing activities, crafts, singing songs and making friends.
DVBS<\/strong> is an exciting week\u00a0in summer\u00a0where kids have a blast with leaders and other kids! Includes stories, games, songs and snacks. (This event depends on the availability of volunteers and therefore may not run each summer.)

Through Bible study, recreational activities, one-on-one coffee times, and genuine friendship, Josh is committed to guiding Jr. youth, Sr. youth and young adults in their walk with God and showing them what it is to be a follower of Christ.

Baptism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Those who have receive Jesus\u2019 gift of salvation, are to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Baptism is an outward sign of being cleansed from sin and commit themselves to following Jesus i as members of the church. It is a covenant with the church and Christ through the power of the Spirit.

Baptism by water in public is a sign that a person has repented of their sins, received forgiveness of sins, died with Christ to sin, been raised to newness of life and received the Holy Spirit. Baptism is a sign of the believer\u2019s incorporation into the body of Christ as expressed in the church.

Baptism is for those who confess that Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and commit themselves to following Jesus in obedience as members of the church. Baptism is for those who understand what it means and are able to be accountable to Jesus and the church, and who voluntarily request it on the basis of their faith response to Jesus.
